Description:
Sporangiospores borne in merosporangia (q.v.) on branched or unbranched aerial sporangiophores; zygospores warty, borne on tongs-like suspensors which are often spirally wound and with globose outgrowths; obligate mycoparasites of Mucorales (rarely Penicillium and Wynnea)
